How do I know what sized box I need?

Selecting the correct size of cardboard box is vital. You should measure the length, width and height of your item or product carefully, and choose a box that is able to accommodate these measurements with minimal excess. It is important to note that measurements given in our catalogue are always the internal box measurements and are written in the order of Length (L) x Width (W) x Height (H)

What type of boxes can I get?

Cardboard boxes are most commonly seen in the FEFCO style 0201, this style uses flaps at the top and bottom of the box that may be taped together once assembled. Various styles of cardboard box are available, including removable lids, hinged lids and self erecting cartons.

We are also suppliers of two-part cases, which include a top & bottom lid, cases with water resistant (wax coated) coatings, blast freeze friendly cases and wet fish packaging.

What box strengths are available?

Box strength is an important consideration for protecting your products or items, the most important specification to take into account is whether the box is single wall with just 1 layer of fluting, or double wall with 2 layers of fluting. Double walled cardboard boxes are generally stronger and more rigid, however, total wall thickness should be considered.

Freeze two part cases (also known as solid wall cases) or 2-part wax (poly-coated cases) / Pelagic Freeze Cases.
